Spot on! We are getting old now, and the friendships we formed when our kids were young still remain. We still pray for one another and encourage each other. What a gift!

What about the use of sex toys in a Christian marriage? I know that they can give one spouse an idea of what they like the other spouse to do to them. In marriage are they ok if both the husband and wife use them together?

I am also waiting until I get married to have sex. What I am nervous about is the thought of becoming the typical Christian wife who looks for all kinds of excuses to not have sex and use it as some sort or currency or means of exchange. I don’t understand why so many married christian women see sex as a chore. Studies and surveys show how pretty much every woman has masturbated in their lives which shows we have sexual needs too not just men. Of course no woman specially christian can ever dare herself to be honest enough to admit it but anyways I don’t understand why sexual needs suddenly disappear once we take a bite of the wedding cake 🍰. Our sexuality is supposed to be better than men’s! We have a little organ who’s sole exclusive purpuse is sexual pleasure: the clitoris. It has double triple nerve endings compared to a penis making it a little volcano 🌋 of pleasure. Our orgasms are longer, more intense, and we can have multiple of them. Our body has more sensitive parts. So many christian wives avoiding and using sex just confuses and saddens me. I have grown up in church hearing messages about relationships that pretty much say that sex is “a man thing”. Neither the bible nor science backs that up.

Cody and Jessie, thank you for sharing what you are doing to prepare for “The Big Talk”! I am new to this channel and found it very refreshing. Since we have a young 9 year old, I want to teach her the biblical perspective about this subject(s). Thank God we are Christians living in South Central Florida so we didn’t have to deal with a public school teaching on these subjects, yet. Unfortunately this is not the case with many states and public schools. I will be Amazoning them right away! God Bless! ❤️

I totally agree with you but so many times as Christians we only preach this to women and not to men as well. Both wives AND husbands need to prioritize family over career goals. That may mean a man doesn’t go after a promotion that would take him out of town for extended periods neglecting his wife and children when he can already financially support the home. Just saying. Be blessed.

We are getting ready for our first year of homeschooling. (My boys are three and two). I knew before I even had children that I wanted to homeschool and now that it’s time to choose the curriculum I find myself struggling to settle on one. I had always planned on My Fathers World because it’s faith based and it’s what my mom used on two of my younger siblings. Now I am hearing great things about The Good and the Beautiful. I just can’t get myself to make a decision.
